Wakamatsu Retro Walk

Wakamatsu prospered as a shipping port for coal. Modern architecture from the Meiji and Taisho periods can be seen along Wakamatsu Nankai avenue. The Former Furukawa Mining Wakamatsu Building was built in 1919 in a Renaissance style and is a popular spot for taking photos. After visiting the Former Furukawa Mining Wakamatsu Building, head over to Mikazukiya for some croissants baked with natural yeast!
